DuBois – The TEDE Foundation is set to host its annual Purple Rose Gala on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 6 PM to 10 PM at the DuBois Country Club, promising an evening of elegance, entertainment, and impact. This highly anticipated event will raise funds to support the Penn Highlands DuBois Center of Excellence in acquiring an Adult Adaptive Height Adjustable Changing Table and creating a safe space for those in need.
The initiative is deeply personal to the foundation, as many individuals and caregivers face challenges due to the lack of these essential facilities in public spaces. While many assume such accommodations are readily available, the reality is quite different. By raising awareness and generating support, the TEDE Foundation aims to foster a more inclusive community where everyone has access to the resources they require.
“We are excited for this event because it addresses an issue close to our hearts,” said a TEDE Foundation representative. “Many people don’t realize how limited these facilities are until they or someone they love need them. By coming together as a community, we can make meaningful, lasting changes.”
Attendees of the semi-formal/formal gala are encouraged to dress in their finest attire and enjoy an evening of fine dining, music, and dancing. The event will also feature an exciting auction, adding a touch of pizazz to the nostalgic atmosphere while raising additional funds for this meaningful cause.
Funding is needed to cover the cost of acquiring an Adult Adaptive Height Adjustable Changing Table and creating a safe space for patients attending appointments at the Penn Highlands DuBois Center of Excellence.
