HARRISBURG – Sen. Wayne Langerholc, Jr. (R-35) and Rep. Mike Armanini (R-75) announced Monday the approval of state funding to help pay for Grampian Borough’s 6th Street improvement project.

The borough will receive $300,000 for stormwater improvements and paving along 6th Street in the Clearfield County community.

“Stormwater management is essential for maintaining infrastructure, keeping water away from roadways and reducing the risk of flooding,” Langerholc said. “It’s also very expensive for local communities, so I am happy to announce this state funding to help Grampian cover the costs.”

“Grants like this provide a vital boost to our local communities, enabling them to make much-needed improvements that directly impact the quality of life for residents,” Armanini said. “From enhancing infrastructure to addressing critical public safety concerns, these investments are key to ensuring our municipalities remain vibrant and resilient for years to come.”

The grant was awarded by the Commonwealth Financing Authority through its Multimodal Transportation Fund, which supports projects that ensure a safe and reliable system of transportation for Pennsylvania residents.
