HARRISBURG – State Rep. Dallas Kephart (R-Cambria/Clearfield) on Friday announced that his Clearfield district office will temporarily be closed while moving to a new location. Currently located at 315 E. Market St., Clearfield, his new office will be located at 14 S. Front St., Clearfield, at the former Clearfield Borough Police Department.

“While our new location is just a few blocks away, we are excited to make the move into an office with more accessible parking and look forward to opening the door on Monday, Feb. 10, at 8:30 a.m. to continue serving the community,” shared Kephart. “While the Clearfield location is unavailable, please contact my Osceola Mills district office at 814-339-6544 or my Hastings district office at 814-247-6210 for any immediate assistance.”

In 2024, Kephart’s district offices provided 4,388 constituent services; assisted with 1,758 PennDOT services; hosted 14 events, including two telephone townhalls, five townhalls, two bridge dedications and five outreach events; and completed 386 Property Tax/Rent Rebate applications and 213 unemployment claims

In the 1870’s J. Robison and Sons of Curwensville began building Tread Power machines which was ultimately a tread mill for one or two horses that used gear reduction to power agricultural and forestry equipment. Recently one of these original pieces of equipment was returned to the Curwensville-Pike Township Historical Society as a gift from the Worchester Historical Society.
