FALLS CREEK, Pa. (EYT) — State police have arrested a federal fugitive who they say fled into the woods when he learned law enforcement was looking for him at a Jefferson County residence.
Ronald Eugene Wolf, 56, of Falls Creek, was taken into custody Jan. 19 after police found him in a wooded area near Main Street, authorities said. Wolf was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service after breaking terms of his release.
Court records show Wolf was sentenced in 2006 to 300 months in federal prison on firearms charges.
Wolf is being held in Jefferson County Jail on $100,000 bail, charged with arrest prior to requisition. Federal authorities plan to extradite him, according to court documents.
