ALEXANDRIA — The Curwensville girls basketball team fell behind host Juniata Valley 21-6 after one quarter on Monday evening and couldn’t recover in a 68-21 loss to the Lady Hornets.
Juniata Valley upped its advantage to 47-12 by the half and led 62-17 after three frames before finishing with the 68-21 decision.
Briah Peoples paced the Lady Tide with nine points. Jovee Elensky and Addison Warren each added four for Curwensville, which slipped to 0-10 this season.
Curwensville is scheduled to host West Branch Wednesday, Jan. 22 at Patton Hall.
