JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (EYT) — A Morrisdale woman has pleaded guilty to federal narcotics charges related to her involvement in distributing significant quantities of fentanyl and methamphetamine, United States Attorney Eric G. Olshan announced.

Jennifer Quick, 50, admitted to count two of a superseding indictment, and counts one and two of a separate indictment before United States District Judge Marilyn J. Horan.

Court documents revealed that between October 2019 and January 2020, Quick conspired to distribute and possessed with intent to distribute over 500 grams of methamphetamine. Federal investigators intercepted her on a wiretap arranging transactions involving the drug.

Between February and March 2023, she conspired to distribute over 40 grams of fentanyl and 50 grams of methamphetamine.

Quick’s sentencing is scheduled for May 8. The charges carry a potential sentence of 10 years to life imprisonment for the superseding indictment, and five to 40 years for the other charges, with fines reaching up to $10 million. The sentence will depend on the severity of the offenses and Quick’s prior criminal history, if applicable, according to federal sentencing guidelines.

Assistant United States Attorney Maureen Sheehan-Balchon is prosecuting the case. The Drug Enforcement Administration and Pennsylvania State Police led the investigation, with support from numerous federal, state, and local agencies, including the Clearfield County District Attorney’s Office.

This case is part of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) initiative, which targets high-level drug trafficking and criminal organizations across the United States.
