HOUTZDALE – The Houtzdale Fire Company has received $2,650 in donations.
Tony Caprio, along with his wife, Margaret; sister-in-law, Trish Neeper; friends, Tammy Hamm and Jen Randolph; and other volunteers held the second annual James “Jumbo” Southern Memorial Cinch Tournament at the Houtzdale Moose on Dec. 28, to raise funds for the Houtzdale Fire Company in honor of “Jumbo”.
Along with the Cinch Tournament, they held a basket raffle and 50/50.
The $2,650 total came from the tournament, basket raffle and 50/50, along with cash donations from the Houtzdale Moose, Rusty’s Oil and Propane, Keith’s Excavating, Black & Blue BBQ, Jaspar’s Home Improvements, Sutton Insurance, O’lenick’s Printing and The Remedy.
Also, the winning team of Zack Dimmick and Shane Evans donated their winnings to the fire company.
