Farmers Market Vouchers Still Available in Clearfield County

Clearfield- Clearfield County Seniors who are 60 years old or older or turn 60 before December 31, 2024, meet the income requirements, and have not registered this year, still have time to register until September 13th for Farmers Market Vouchers at Mature Resources Area Agency on Aging in cooperation with PA Department of Agriculture.
 
This program provides older Citizens of Pennsylvania with five- $10.00 Vouchers to purchase produce grown by Pennsylvania farmers approved PA Dept. of Agriculture.
 
A limited number of vouchers are still available for people who do not live in nursing-home facilities, convents, or residential facilities where meals are served. The income limit is $27,861 for a single person, $37,814 for two people, and $47,767 for three people. Income means before deductions such as income tax, Social Security deductions, welfare payments, or any other source of income.
 
To register to get your 5- $10.00 vouchers to use at Farmers’ Markets in Pennsylvania, please call the special FARMERS MARKET Phone number 814-765-2691 and leave a message. You will receive an application to fill out and return by mail to receive your vouchers.
 
Vouchers must be used by November 30, 2024.
