DRIFTING – St. Severin Church of Drifting will be home to the 149th annual Cooper Picnic on Monday, Sept. 2.
There will be barbecue chicken or ham dinners for purchase, and the eat-in or take-out dinners include mashed potatoes with gravy, noodles and green beans, along with coleslaw, dinner rolls and a dessert.
Both indoor and outdoor seating are available, with dinners being served from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. Dinners are $15 each for adults and $8 for children (12 years and under).
There will also be games of chance, a 50/50 raffle, Chinese auction, kid’s games, ice cream and funnel cake stands and more.
Picnic-goers can enjoy live music by the Moore Brothers, from 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m. and again from 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.
The picnic will be held rain or shine so come enjoy the many booths, games and delicious food.
