CHESTER HILL – A public meeting for the Chester Hill Reconnecting Communities Study will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13 at the Chester Hill Borough Building, located at 920 Walton St., Philipsburg.
Chester Hill Borough is partnering with Clearfield County, the North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission and PennDOT to study and address the impacts of the recent closure and removal of the Presqueisle Street Bridge.
Local officials are seeking public input on transportation issues and potential solutions between Presqueisle Street and PA 53 (Walton Street.)
The public is invited to attend to learn about enhancing vehicular and pedestrian access, improving safety and mitigating conflicts between transportation modes and alleviating the pressure of increased traffic on local roads.
