DUBOIS – Two people were charged with possessing drugs after authorities searched their DuBois residence.
Police say Ashlee Marie Bennett, 26, and Zachary Andrew Means, 32, were the targets of a search warrant after a state parole officer noticed drugs and paraphernalia in their home on Nov. 14.
Authorities were able to locate a metal container, which had a white powder substance in it, a backpack with a white crystal substance, a bag containing a clear white crystal powder, a brown powdery substance on a plate on the stove, a scale and drug packaging materials, as well as various drug paraphernalia.
The items were sent away for testing and were found to be a total of 0.78 grams of methamphetamine, according to the report.
They are both charged July 21 with felony manufacture/delivery/possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and misdemeanor counts of intentional possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
They are scheduled for a preliminary hearing Sept. 15 during centralized court in DuBois.
