DUBOIS – A Valentine’s Day horror short film screening will be hosted by the Northern Appalachian Film Collective (NAFCo) as part of its dinner and a movie series.
It will be held Feb. 14, beginning at 6 p.m. at the DuBois Diner (upstairs), located at 50 W. Dubois Ave., # D, DuBois. This month, the featured filmmaker is Don Swanson of White Mill Crossing.
Swanson will present several of his short films including the award-winning “Occurrence at Mills Creek.” He will also discuss the production of his films and take audience questions.
A mixer will begin at 6 p.m., dinner orders will be taken at 6:30 p.m. and the film session will begin at 7:30 p.m. There isn’t any charge for this event, except for the cost of your dinner.
Donations to NAFCo will be accepted. NAFCo is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corp. based in DuBois with its mission on the promotion of filmmaking in the Northern Appalachian region.
