CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man is facing misdemeanor charges following an alleged domestic assault at a Good Street residence Thursday evening.
Shawn Thomas Webster, 41, has been charged by Officer Devin Gill of the Lawrence Township police with misdemeanor simple assault and disorderly conduct, plus summary harassment.
According to police, Webster and a 42-year-old woman were arguing when he threw his socks at her, grabbed her by the neck and pushed her into the refrigerator.
Afterwards, he went outside and sat in his vehicle; however, he left prior to police arrival. Officers said the woman had skin redness on her neck and chest and minor cuts in her mouth.
Webster is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing at 10:15 a.m. Nov. 20 during centralized court at the Clearfield County Jail. His bail is set at $25,000 unsecured.
