CLEARFIELD – As part of Fire Prevention Week, the Lawrence Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 held an open house event Tuesday evening.
The event’s theme was “Not every hero wears a cape; plan and practice your escape!” It featured kid’s games and an opportunity to “Touch A Truck.”
Chase and Marshall from the animated, kid’s television series PAW Patrol also made an appearance.
Local firefighters gave demonstrations, as well as taught about important subject areas, such as safety plans, meeting places and fire prevention basics.
