State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about a theft that occurred sometime Aug. 23-24 on State Park Road in Huston Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed an FN USA 9-mm. black and gray pistol from a 2001 Honda Civic. The investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-371-4652.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a retail theft that occurred Tuesday at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Clearfield. Upon arrival, it was learned a female suspect had concealed various items in her purse and was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Following an interview, she was advised she wasn’t allowed on store property, then removed. Charges will be filed for the incident, police said.
