CLEARFIELD – Moshannon Valley Area School District’s National Honor Society has made a donation to the Child Advocacy Center of Clearfield County (CAC-CC).

The society’s donation was in the amount of $131, according to District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr.  NHS President Micah DeLattre shared: “Our advisor, Mrs. Alicia Cervenak, made us aware of the CAC-CC, and we were eager to help out.”

Shaw thanked the society’s young leaders for their willingness to raise funds for the CAC-CC.  The center, he said, wouldn’t be possible without the collaboration and support of the Clearfield County Multidisciplinary Investigative Team (MDIT) and community members.

The MDIT is comprised of representatives of local law enforcement, as well as the District Attorney’s Office, Children, Youth, and Family Services, Cen-Clear Child Services, victim services providers and a medical expert.

Shaw invited any individual, group or organization interested in supporting the CAC-CC to e-mail cac@cenclear.org.
