CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield school board on Monday night filled leadership roles in both its secondary and elementary school buildings.
The board voted to approve the hiring of:
- Kenneth Veihdeffer as the principal of the Clearfield Area Elementary School at the salary of $92,500. Also, it includes the transfer of his balance of sick days and 30 vacation days from the Curwensville Area School District. Veihdeffer’s hiring is pending his completion of all required paperwork, and his effective date is to be determined.
- Jennifer Gaston as the assistant principal at CAES at a salary of $82,000. Also, it includes the transfer of her balance of sick days from the DuBois Area School District. Her hiring is effective July 1, or upon completion of all required paperwork.
- Eric Scaife as an assistant principal at the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School at a salary of $82,000, effective July 1, and pending completion of all required paperwork.
The board also approved the transfer of Andrew Brickley from assistant principal at CAES to assistant principal at the CAJSHS, effective July 1.
