CLEARFIELD – Summertime is right around the corner and so is the return of a popular, local concert series.
On May 31, downtown Clearfield’s Corner Concert Series will kick off at 7 p.m. in Shaw Park, across from the Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library.
The series will open with Dwayne Lewis, and it will continue with a different performer every Friday night throughout the summer months.
This year donations will be collected to benefit “You Are Worthy,” a local women’s ministry with a focus on empowering women within the local community.
Fans of the Corner Concert Series may also purchase T-shirts through its fundraising Web site at mynewmerch.com. Custom-printed window decals will be for sale each week to cover expenses.
People can “like” the Corner Concert Facebook page for up-to-date information on schedule changes, rain outs or special announcements.
