State police at Clearfield

  • State police responded to a motor vehicle crash Saturday on the Krebs Highway in Boggs Township. According to state police, Vincent D. Vickers, 32, of Philipsburg swerved his vehicle to avoid a deer in the roadway. It then crossed into the northbound lane and exited the roadway, where it impacted a tree, overturned and impacted another tree. Vickers was able to free himself from the vehicle; he was wearing a seatbelt and not injured in the crash. State police were assisted on-scene by towing services.

State police at DuBois

  • State police reported on a traffic stop that resulted in a drug violation Tuesday on Interstate 80 west, at mile-marker 74.5, in Union Township. During a search of a vehicle, a 37-year-old Chicago, Ill., man was allegedly found in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Charges will be filed through the district court.

State police at Ridgway

  • State police received a report about an incident of trespassing that occurred Tuesday on Main Street in Fox Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s home without permission and placed feces on her bed. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
