CLEARFIELD – On April 5, the Clearfield YMCA will present an evening of stand-up comedy at the St. Charles Café ballroom.

The show’s headliner is David Kaye from Pittsburgh. He’s a “premier” comedian who performs nationally at casinos, cruise ships and comedy clubs.

According to organizers, his “tongue-in-cheek delivery stays within the bounds of good taste,” which will leave you “laughing in the aisles.”

Joining Kaye will be Auggie Cook, another nationally-touring stand-up comedian who has appeared on ABC-TV and A&E networks.

Organizers say his “quick wit, clean jokes, easy style and hilarious keyboard songs” have propelled his career.  He’s heard regularly on WDVE-FM out of Pittsburgh.

The MC will be Seneca Stone, who plays clubs between Buffalo and Pittsburgh.  He pulls on his experience from being raised by a single mother to his love for pop music. No topic is off limits for him.

This is an adult only (21 years and over) comedy show.  The doors will open at 7 p.m. and the show will start at 8 p.m.  Tickets will only be available in advance.

Admission includes the comedy show, hors d’ oeuvres and a beverage.  Proceeds will support the Clearfield YMCA’s scholarship fund, which is used to allocate memberships and programs to people who need financial assistance.

Tables of eight people or more can be reserved.  Please contact Don Herres at the YMCA to reserve your table. Tickets are available at the Clearfield YMCA, from board members or online at slapsticksproductions.com.
