A softball game between cross-town rivals – Glendale and Moshannon Valley – will benefit a local family in need.
The third annual Glendale charity softball game will be played March 25 at the Irvona Park. The first pitch is set for 5:30 p.m.
This year, all proceeds will benefit the Harold and Millie Gustafson family that lost their home in a recent fire.
This charity game really hits home for the softball team, as the fire affected Kenisha Gustafson, a 2017 graduate of Glendale and former player and close teammate.
Her brother, Darius, is currently a senior at Glendale High School and a member of the school’s baseball team.
The team is especially grateful for all of those who have supported the team’s charity game in the past and will again this year.
