DUBOIS – The Reitz Theater will present, Play On! by Rick Abbot. Show dates are April 5, 6, 11, 12 and 13 at 7:30 p.m. and April 7 at 2 p.m.
Sign Language Interpretation will be provided on April 6 by Jenny Gordon. Play On! is being sponsored by Hopkins Heltzel Law Firm and Wise Eyes of DuBois.
Play On! is a hilarious comedy about a theater group trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from a haughty author who keeps revising the script.
Enjoy their distress beginning with the rehearsal of the dreadful script, through the near disastrous dress rehearsal, to the final act in which anything that can go wrong, does. Even the sound effects reap their share of laughter.
Play On! is being directed by Bobbie Reitz and Misti Bruner and the cast includes Zachary Coudriet, Sara Stone, Chuch Johnson, Emily Smith, Tyson Titler, Max Smith, Andy Benson, Amanda Braunns, Rachel Duke and Valerie Kucenski.
The opening night gala, April 5, for Play On! will feature samples from Buck’s Pizza in DuBois. You can come and enjoy the offerings prior to the performance and during the show’s intermission.
Tickets for this show cost $12 for adults and $10 for senior citizens (60 and over) and students. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ReitzTheater.com, at Ace Hardware in DuBois or by visiting the Reitz Theater Box Office, which opens one hour prior to each show, and is also open Mondays and Fridays from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and Wednesdays from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
