CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Area United Way’s Reading Ripples program recently benefited from a book collection.

CAUW board member Greg Dixon is shown accepting boxes of “gently-used” children’s and teen books to benefit area children in need. He’s shown with Rachel Dixon.

To date, the United Way has processed and distributed over 6,000 books.  Dixon thanked those who have donated early-grade reading material to support this program.

The CAUW invites people to make a monetary donation or to join the collection efforts. To place a box and posters, please contact 814-765-6521.
