CLEARFIELD – Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank, is pleased to announce that Marian Stahlman and Jason Thorp have successfully graduated from the CNB Bank Management Training Program.
The program was developed to provide each participant with the knowledge of CNB’s banking fundamentals and consists of both in-house classroom and on-the-job learning experiences.
Trainees are assigned time in every department of the bank to observe and serve in various capacities, thus acquiring a working knowledge of various operations and management styles. This structured program typically lasts for a period of six months.
“The experience gained through the Management Training Program has given Marian and Jason a solid foundation of CNB’s processes and culture,” Bower said.
“I am confident this training has built the groundwork to continue to work hard to exceed our customers’ expectations in their new roles.”
Stahlman began her career at CNB Bank in August of 2017 as an associate at the Philipsburg, Presqueisle Street community office, and entered the management training program in 2018.

In this role, Stahlman prepares the documents necessary to complete the loan process by ordering and reviewing appraisals, construction funding and environmental and feasibility studies.
She oversees the process from start to finish to ensure a timely, seamless process for customers.
