CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Revitalization Corp. (CRC) will host a media auction in March. It will be held, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., Thursday, March 14 at Moena Restaurant, 215 E. Market St., Clearfield.
The CRC will highlight the importance of local business and advertising. The goal is to help local business owners with their advertising and marketing outreach.
This auction event will also present local media outlets with the opportunity to introduce their products and services to a new customer base.
According to Main Street Manager Loretta Wagner, this will be a live auction for businesses and organizations to purchase advertising at a discounted rate.
She said the CRC had many local and regional advertising and media outlets donate packages at no cost. More than $20,000 worth in packages will be available.
However, Wagner said starting bids will begin around 10-15 percent of a package’s value, which is just a fraction of the regular cost for broadcast, print, online/digital or marketing services.
All proceeds will benefit the CRC and its efforts to beautify and drive commerce to the downtown Clearfield district.
At the start of the event, there will also be a silent auction offering products and services that are ideal for small businesses, start-ups and non-profit organizations.
The CRC is a local charitable organization and the purchase of advertising packages at this event is tax-deductible.
