DUBOIS – A spaghetti dinner and Chinese auction will benefit the family of a local police officer who was killed in an off-duty, two-vehicle crash in September.

The dinner will be held from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, located at 189 Jefferson Ave., in Falls Creek.

The cost for the dinner is $8 per person and it includes spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread and butter. Take-out dinners will also be available.

All proceeds will directly benefit the wife and daughter of Officer Patrick Straub of the DuBois City and Sandy Township police departments.

Donations are welcome. For more information or tickets, please contact the DuBois City police station.
