Speed Limits Restored on Roads in North Central Region

CLEARFIELD – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has restored speed limits on major roadways in the north central and central region.

As of 8 a.m., speed limits were restored to normal postings on the following roads:

  • Interstate 80 in Clinton, Centre and Clearfield counties
  • Interstate 99 in Centre County
  • U.S. Route 322 in Mifflin, Centre and Clearfield counties
  • U.S. Route 22/322 in Juniata County
  • U.S. Route 220 in Clinton County

PennDOT continues to treat state routes across the region and will continue to do so until roads are clear.

Motorists can check conditions and snow-plow locations on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com.

511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 860 traffic cameras.
