REYNOLDSVILLE – Courteney DeHaven was recently named Jeff Tech’s Student of the Month for October.
She is a senior in the cosmetology program and currently serves as president of that shop. Her home school is the DuBois Area School District.
She is a member of the Career Technical Student Organization (CTSO), Art Club, Dance Committee and the Aevidum Club. “Aevidum” means “I’ve got your back” and is a club that promotes student well-being.
DeHaven has attended board meetings and field trips representing Jeff Tech throughout the community. She enjoys singing and works two jobs.
In her spare time, she volunteers for community events in DuBois and Reynoldsville. She is the daughter of Tonya and Michael DeHaven.
