BROOKVILLE — With hard rain and winter approaching the residents of north-central Pennsylvania, Sarvey Insurance and Erie Insurance have teamed up with Roost, a leading home sensor technology company, on a unique pilot program for those with Erie homeowners, renters and condominium insurance plans.

The Erie Insurance Home Sensor Pilot program provides a free Roost Smart Water, Leak & Freeze Detector per household.

According to Will Sarvey, “The purpose of the detector is to help our Erie Insurance clients detect a water-related event in their homes.”

Water is essential for life; but to a home, water damage accounts for the vast majority of insurance claims each year.

“Installation of the sensor is simple,” states Sarvey, adding that, “We have a vested interest in keeping our clients safe; we believe this detector can be successful in helping them avoid or minimize damage caused by water or temperature changes.”

Frozen pipes, leaks and ground water, driven by hard rains, all cause costly damages to homes.

Sarvey Insurance is currently providing one free Roost Smart Water, Leak & Freeze Detector to its Erie Insurance clients with a homeowner’s policy at its office locations in DuBois, Brookville and Punxsutawney.

For more information, please visit sarvey.com or call 814-371 – 4700.

Founded in 1964, Sarvey Insurance – a proud Erie Insurance Agency – has taken the lead in providing affordable insurance options for the residents of north-central Pennsylvania.  Protecting your family is our family business.
