CLEARFIELD – Get ready to fall into fun when the eighth annual Clearfield Fall Festival returns to downtown on Saturday, Oct. 13.

The festival, hosted by the Clearfield Revitalization Corp. (CRC), is being held in conjunction with the annual Clearfield Pumpkin Run/Walk 5K and Fall Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show.

Festivities will get under way with the Pumpkin Run/Walk through the streets of Clearfield. Participants must register by Sept. 28 to be guaranteed a race T-shirt.

Day-of registration will take place from 7 a.m. – 8 a.m. at the Clearfield Riverwalk Amphitheatre, and the race will start at 8:30 a.m. in the area of Clearfield Agway.

You can visit the CRC Web site, www.discoverclearfield.com, or Facebook page for more race information.

The fall festival will follow the race from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. This admission-free, family-friendly event will fill Market, Locust and Third streets, and it is sure to offer something from everyone.

Festival-goers can enjoy fall foods while mingling with more than 100 artisans whose talents range from ceramics, fiber, wood, leather and metalwork to jewelry, glass, photography and mixed-media art pieces.

Many downtown businesses will offer fall sales, and live entertainment will take place in the Clearfield County Courthouse Square.

For the kids, there will be the chance to “Chalk-Up Clearfield” and to design their very own sidewalk square courtesy of Historica Plus Antiques.

There will also be lots of games, face-painting and fall kid’s activities all day, and the Town Klowns will show up to keep them entertained.

In addition, the fifth annual Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. It will take place in and around the Third Street parking lot with day-of registration from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

The registration fee will be $10, and there will be various classes. Certificates and cash awards will be given for first, second and third places depending upon the number of entrants per class.

For more information, call the CRC Office at 814-765-6000 or visit www.DisoverClearfield.com.
