The Clearfield Area United Way would like to give a very special thank you to Clearfield’s Wal-Mart and Peebles stores and many other supporters.
The stores made our 15th annual Jeans for Teens Project an incredible success. Their support enabled us to make a difference in the lives of area youth.
Specifically, the CAUW would like to thank area agencies for identifying our participants; Manager Josh Kunkle, Assistant Manager Sue, Edna and Dustin, all from the Wal-Mart Supercenter; and Peebles Manager Marlo Weyand.
Most importantly, we would like to thank Rob Kurtz Jr., who partnered with us financially to start the program more than a decade ago.
We were able to again make a difference, and everyone had a fun afternoon. That’s what matters and the spirit of the United Way is helping others.
