DUBOIS – Local business professionals are invited to participate in an upcoming Pennsylvania Association of Non-Profit Organizations workshop in DuBois.
The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Sept. 22 at the DuBois Public Library. Also, attendees may arrive a bit early for some morning refreshments.
The session, “Growing Strategic Boards 101,” will cover a well-accepted idea that the stronger the board, the stronger the ability to achieve the mission.”
Topics will include the following:
- Board Fiduciary Responsibilities
- Board/Staff Roles
- Management of Board Operations
- Recruitment Procedures
There will be a strong focus on creating strategic board meetings and more.
