State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about a theft that occurred between Saturday and Monday in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a firearm from the Philipsburg Borough Code Enforcement vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-342-3370.
Lawrence Township
- Police reported about a wanted male, Chad Allen Peters, who was taken into custody on Monday. Police say the male was fleeing from officers in Edgewood; he was pursued to Washington Avenue where he was apprehended. He was subsequently transported to county jail on a warrant through the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office.
- Police received a report about an incident of disorderly conduct that occurred Monday on Washington Avenue in the area of the Hyde Uni-mart. An employee told police she had customers complaining about loud, obscene music that was coming from a male’s apartment. Police subsequently warned the male of the complaint and requested that he turn the music down, so that it didn’t disturb others in the vicinity.
