COVINGTON TOWNSHIP – A Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal is investigating after a Jeep was found burned in Covington Township.
According to a news release, Clearfield-based state police received a report Wednesday evening about a Jeep that was found completely burned in a wooded area off the Caledonia Pike.
State police have not located a vehicle identification number. However, it’s believed that this Jeep was recently stolen from the Chester Hill area.
The fire marshal is continuing the investigation at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
