State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle that occurred Monday on Railroad Street in Coalport Borough. During the incident, state police say a 16-year-old took the vehicle from his parents’ residence without permission. It was later returned without any damages, and there will not be any charges filed against him.
Clearfield Borough
- Police received a report about a person who was loitering around a West Locust Street residence. Upon arrival, police searched the area and were unable to locate anyone.
- Police received a report about a male who was yelling obscenities outside on Spruce Street. Upon arrival, police were unable to locate him.
- Police assisted a motorist who had locked their keys inside their vehicle along North Second Street.
- Police located a male who was lying in a parking lot along Reed Street. He was allegedly highly intoxicated and in possession of narcotics. He was subsequently transported to the jail.
- Police were dispatched to the Turnpike Avenue area where a hospital patient had left with an IV still in his arm. Police located the male who had already removed the IV.
- Police received a report about an explosion on Clay Street. Upon arrival, police found that two males had set off a loud firework.
- Police received a report about an intoxicated male who was causing problems on East Market Street. Upon arrival, police located the male and determined he was not intoxicated.
- Police received a report about an alarm at the Clearfield County Courthouse. The alarm was found to have malfunctioned, and the Sheriff’s Office assisted police.
- Police received a report about drug paraphernalia that was located on West Front Street. Upon arrival, police recovered the items.
- Police reported that gas was siphoned from a vehicle while it was parked along East Cherry Street.
- Police responded to the area of Turnpike Avenue and Nichols Street, as the traffic light was not working. Police provided traffic control until the fire police were able to respond.
- Police were called regarding a harassment complaint that had occurred along Daisy Street.
