CLEARFIELD – Lawrence Township police responded to a reported motor vehicle crash Thursday at the intersection of High Level and Mount Joy roads in Clearfield.
According to police, a driver had proceeded without clearance after leaving a stop sign at High Level Road. Their vehicle subsequently struck another vehicle, which was traveling southbound.
Both drivers refused medical treatment. The driver of the second vehicle was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, police say. Laboratory test results are currently pending at this time.
