DUBOIS – A Penfield man who threatened to “stab everyone” in Treasure Lake waived his right to a preliminary hearing Friday during centralized court.
Ryan Blaine Long, 33, was charged by state police with misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats and disorderly conduct as well as a summary count of public drunkenness for an incident on May 20.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, one of the victims in a trailer park in Huston Township woke up to find Long staring at her in bed. She asked him what he wanted, and he said that “everyone’s end was coming” because they were going to get what they deserved.
When she told him to leave her room, he looked at her “weird,” and then repeated what she said as if it was a question as he left the room.
The victim heard her mother yelling at him, and then Long reportedly pushed her grandmother.
Long then allegedly threatened that he was going to stab everyone at Treasure Lake, explaining that everyone who pushed him around would “get it.” He then grabbed a knife from the sink, three beers and walked out.
When police arrived on the scene, Long was holding the beer cans. He was asked to pull up his hooded sweatshirt, which revealed a green bladed knife in his front right pocket.
As they approached Long, he fled.
The officers pursued him on foot through a trailer court and out of it. Long then reportedly crossed Mountain Run Road through a creek and into a field before coming back onto state Route 255 where he was taken into custody.
Long’s bail was reduced from $25,000 to $10,000 Friday, but he remains in the county jail, according to court documents.
