CLEARFIELD – The Master Site Development Plan for the proposed recreational and educational facility at LHU Clearfield was finalized on Friday, April 13.
The plan is focused on nature-based recreation with a mixture of active, passive and educational amenities covering the entire 84 acres of undeveloped land and connecting into the existing developed 16-acre property.
With the completion of the plan, campus personnel will begin to search for funds (grants and gifts) to initiate project build-out.
LHU Clearfield students got the ball rolling by installing bluebird boxes in the meadow area of the campus.
Shown, from left, are Katherine Tonelli, Emily Hibler and Brandyn Holtzinger with one of the boxes.
