BRADY TOWNSHIP – A motor vehicle crash claimed the life of Lloyd D. Minns, 60, of Falls Creek on Thursday morning.

According to DuBois-based state police, the crash occurred at 6:05 a.m. in the 2300 block of Helvetia Road in Brady Township.

Minns’ vehicle was traveling eastbound when it crossed the centerline. It reportedly exited the roadway and impacted a tree head-on.

State police say Minns sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. He succumbed to those injuries at the scene.

State police were assisted at the scene by the Brady Township Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services, DuSan Ambulance, Clearfield County Coroner’s Office and towing services.
