DUBOIS – PASSAGES Inc. will be holding a “Walk A Mile In Her Shoes March” to end gender violence.

It will be held April 14 at the DuBois City Park. It’s being held in conjunction with Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Registration will begin at 12 p.m.

During the event, men wear red high heels and they walk a mile to show support for survivors of sexual violence.

The event is also held in order to raise community awareness about an important issue facing women and men of all of ages – sexual violence.

PASSAGES Inc. will provide the shoes and a free T-shirt to all male walkers. Registration is also free.

To reserve shoes in your size, please call PASSAGES Inc. at 814-226-7273 or e-mail Tia at passages_outreachadvocate@verizon.net.

PASSAGES Inc. would like to thank its generous event sponsor, CNB Bank.
