State police at Philipsburg

  • State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Monday on Loveville Road in Warriors Mark. During the incident, a couple allegedly engaged in a physical altercation. Charges will be filed through the district court.
  • State police reported on a drug violation that occurred March 4 at the YMCA in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, a known male was located in the restroom and was allegedly found in possession of paraphernalia and suspected heroin. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.

State police at Punxsutawney

  • State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Monday on Sylvis Road in Burnside Township. During the incident, two men were allegedly involved in an altercation.

State police at Ridgway

  • State police received a report about a retail theft that occurred Wednesday at the Wal-Mart store in St. Marys. During the incident, a 29-year-old St. Marys man arrived at the store and allegedly removed three items valued at $63.42. Charges were filed through the district court.

DuBois City

  • Police made contact with a bicyclist who appeared to have a facial injury. He told police he’d fallen down, resulting in a black eye. He also indicated he was OK and didn’t need medical treatment.
  • Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of North Brady Street and Park Avenue. According to police, a female driver was traveling south on Liberty Boulevard in the right-hand turn only lane. She continued south and impacted a truck tractor at the Park Avenue intersection. The female’s vehicle was towed from the scene; the truck sustained minor damage. She also had a minor laceration on her thumb and was cleared by medics.
