INDIANA – The Curwensville wrestling squad traveled away on Tuesday to wrestle the Indiana Little Indians, where they were quickly disposed of and beaten 48-9.
Indiana scored its 48 points with four pins, three forfeits, and two decisions.
From the get go, Indiana took control of the match and never lost steam, mounting three wins before Curwensville got on the board.
Of the eight matches wrestled, Curwensville’s lone winners were freshman Jake McCracken (16-10) and senior Steve McClure (24-2). McCracken made light work out of Indiana’s Brayden Hodak at 152, garnering a fall in just 1:19, while McClure picked up a convincing 6-2 victory over Little Indian Brent Johnson in his heavyweight bout.
Curwensville (3-12) will return home on Thursday for their final dual meet of the season against the second place District IX finishers, the Brockway Rovers.
