A 19-year-old Big Run man, Daniel F. Jablonski, was jailed Monday for sexual abuse of children, Punxsutawney-based state police say.

Jablonski was also charged with unlawful contact with a minor, criminal use of a communications facility and corruption of minors. He’s currently in the Jefferson County Jail.

State police say the charges stem from incidents at various times Nov. 11, 2017 in Punxsutawney and Big Run boroughs in Jefferson County.

Jablonski allegedly solicited explicit photographs, videos and sexual encounters from a 16-year-old girl. State police say the girl sent explicit material to him via electronic communications.

State police then intercepted a physical encounter, according to the report.
