CLEARFIELD – Steve Shilling, executive vice president/private client solutions, recently announced the appointment of Chris Stott as senior vice president/director of private banking.

The private banking division offers enhanced customization and personal service to exclusive clientele served by CNB Bank.

Stott will lead the team with a unique blend of specialized product and service offerings tailored to meet the financial goals and circumstances of their clients.

Stott began his career with CNB Bank in 1997 as an assistant vice president/mortgage lending. In 2000 he was promoted to vice president/mortgage lending, and in 2008 he was charged with leading the bank’s entire retail lending division.

Stott has participated in the PBA Leadership Program and was the first of CNB Bank employees to do so.

“Chris has built tremendous relationships throughout a large region of communities surrounding the CNB market area,” said Shilling.

“He will continue to play an integral role in delivering customized banking to our clients.”

A native of Houtzdale, Stott graduated from the Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School in 1986. He attended Penn State University from which he received his Bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1990.

He went on to Mortgage Bankers Association School of Mortgage Banking and has taken and taught various courses from the American Institute of Banking.

Stott is the assistant secretary/treasurer for the Clearfield Municipal Authority and the treasurer of the Clearfield Fireman’s Benefit Trust.

He has participated and assisted with events hosted by the Clearfield Revitalization Corp., such as the Downtown Beautification Project and local festivals.

Stott currently resides in Clearfield with his wife, Leslie, and daughters, Taylor and Haeley.
