DUBOIS – The Winkler Gallery and Art Education Center will be hosting a performance of the folk group, Simple Gifts, on Feb. 9.
The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with a workshop for professional and amateur musicians conducted by Simple Gifts until 6:30 p.m.
From 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., there will be an intermission with refreshments and visiting with Simple Gifts.
At 7:30 p.m., Simple Gifts will perform. Simple Gifts is made up of two talented women and 12-plus instruments.
This highly-talented duo will share folk music from around the world on a variety of instruments including, violin, guitar, bowed psaltery, hammered dulcimer, spoons and more.
The Winkler Gallery and Art Education Center is located at 36 N. Brady St., DuBois.
Organizers say that a $10 suggested donation will be accepted at the door for future educational events.
