State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about a theft that occurred between Dec. 27 and Dec. 29 at the Veterans Memorial in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a Santa Claus decoration and fled the scene. It is an antique plastic light-up, state police say. - State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred sometime Dec. 29-30 on Buttonwood Street in Unionville Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a blue and yellow vehicle lift that was mounted to the ground outside the victim’s residence. It’s valued at approximately $3,000, state police say. - State police received a report about a theft that occurred Sunday on East Beaver Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a royal blue Mongoose BMX bicycle from the victim’s carport. State police say the decals were removed, and it has four BMX style pegs. State police at Punxsutawney
- On Dec. 29, state police served an arrest warrant on Kelsey Jo Connors, 24, of Maryland. According to the report, the warrant was for “second-degree assault charges” in Maryland, and full extradition was approved upon her apprehension. She was located and charged with arrest prior to requisition through the district court. She remains incarcerated in the Jefferson County Jail pending her extradition to Maryland.
- State police received a report about a domestic dispute involving brothers Dec. 28 on Blake Road in Chest Township. During a physical altercation, an 18-year-old allegedly struck a 24-year-old in the face. State police say he then struck his younger brother in the face. Both will be charged through the district court.
- State police received a report about the transmission of sexually explicit images that occurred between Dec. 1 and Dec. 15 in Westover Borough. During the incident, a 15-year-old male from South Carolina allegedly took explicit images of himself and forwarded them to the victim via electronic communications. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of indecent assault that occurred Nov. 24 in Pine Creek Township. During the incident, an 11-year-old male allegedly subjected the victim – an 8-year-old female – to unwanted physical contact. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Dec. 29 on Heathville Road in Summersville. While the victim was sitting in his living room, someone allegedly fired a paintball at his home. It struck the front porch window, but the victim didn’t report any damage. - State police reported on an incident of DUI that occurred Sunday near the Reynoldsville Legion. According to state police, a vehicle operated by a 42-year-old Brockway man was stopped for an equipment violation. He was allegedly determined to be under the influence, and charges are currently pending.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred between Dec. 14 and Monday on West River Road in Burnside. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a wood/coal stove, four 16”, six-bolt aluminum rims with tires and two 14”, four-bolt rims from the victim’s yard. Clearfield Borough
- Police received a report about an altercation between a male and female on South Second Street. Upon arrival, police found it was verbal in nature.
- Police received a report about an incident of harassment.

- Police received a report about a child who was left unattended on Daisy Street. Upon arrival, police found that the juvenile was in the care of an adult.
- Police received a report about a noise complaint at an apartment along East Locust Street.
- Police are investigating several alleged thefts of packages from West Side residents.
- Police arrested a male for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs after a vehicle stop was initiated along Williams Street.
- Police arrested a male along Nichols Street and found him in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Lawrence Township
- Police reported on a DUI incident that occurred Dec. 29 in the area of Dairy Lane and Valley View Drive in Lawrence Township. According to police, a vehicle stop was conducted near the Edgewood Apartments for various traffic violations that occurred while it was en route there. Upon making contact with the driver, it was found he was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. He refused to provide a blood sample when it was requested. He was eventually transported to county jail, where he was housed on a probation detainer. Charges will be filed against the male driver.
- Police reported on a drug violation that occurred Dec. 30 at the Lawrence Park Village Apartments. According to police, there was an odor of marijuana coming from an apartment. Police made contact with the tenant who was allegedly found in possession of a small amount of marijuana. She also admitted to smoking prior to police arrival at the scene. Police seized the marijuana and criminal charges have been filed.
- Police reported on an incident of theft and drug possession that occurred Tuesday on Valley View Drive in Lawrence Township. According to police, there was a reported 911 hang-up call. Upon arrival, police learned a 31-year-old Clearfield man was being accused of stealing property. Upon further investigation, police located a 31-year-old Glen Richey man who was wanted on warrants. Police also located drugs and paraphernalia that allegedly belonged to a 34-year-old Clearfield female. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
DuBois City
- Police assisted two, different motorists with disabled vehicles. Both were having battery issues from the severely cold weather and stopped operating. Both occurred during the morning hours while people were commuting to work.
- Police assisted DuSan AmServ with a patient on Spring Avenue.
- Police responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 500 block of Maple Avenue. No injuries were reported, but both vehicles were towed from the scene.
- Police received a report about a male who was threatening to harm himself on South Brady Street. Upon arrival, police made contact with the male and he was taken to the hospital for an evaluation. Sandy Township police assisted with the incident.
- Police received a report about a male who was threatening to harm himself on South Church Street. While en route, police were advised the male had left in a vehicle. Police attempted to locate him but were unable to at that time. Police later made contact with the male and he was safe.
- Police received a report about a male who wanted to harm himself on South Avenue. Upon arrival, he commented to officers that they could shoot him and he didn’t care. He was subsequently taken to the hospital for an evaluation.
- Police responded to a reported drug overdose. Upon arrival, police secured the scene for emergency personnel. The patient was taken to the hospital for additional treatment. Police say that Act 139 of 2014 prevents criminal charges from being filed.
- Police responded to an activated burglar alarm at Subway on South Brady Street. Upon arrival, police learned it had been activated by an employee.
- Police assisted a male with a flat tire on East Park Avenue.
- Police ticketed a motorist for parking their vehicle the wrong way on North State Street.
- Police received a report about a domestic disturbance on West Long Avenue. According to the caller, her adult son and girlfriend were engaged in an argument. When the call was made to police, they fled the residence. Upon arrival, police advised the caller to dial 911 if they returned.
- Police received a parking complaint on Morrison Street for a neighbor parking on the caller’s property. Police contacted the vehicle owner and requested them to move the vehicle, which they did.
- Police received a report about a motorist doing donuts in a vehicle on Kaylee Court. Police arrived at the scene but were unable to make contact with any motorists.
- Police received a report from a DuBois Avenue man who said he was being harassed by his neighbor. He told police his neighbor left a blanket with a note on his porch about leaving his dog out in the cold. Police didn’t issue any citations.
- Police received a report about a loose dog running in the area of North High and West Long Avenue. Prior to police arrival, it was returned to its owner.
- Police responded to a home burglary alarm on Chestnut Avenue. Upon arrival, police learned the owner was having trouble with his alarm.
- Police received a report about scattered rubbish on Pifer Street. Upon arrival, police were told the trash belonged to a Tozier Avenue address. Police contacted the owner and requested them to pick up the trash. The owner said his snow plow could have dragged the trash onto Pifer Street.
- Police received a report about an unwanted person and drug use at a South Church Street address. Upon arrival, the caller demanded for police to do a search and remove the person. Police found the caller’s ex-wife occupied the residence, and she denied any wrong-doing.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a woman who was walking near East Park Avenue. Upon arrival, police made contact with the woman who said the sidewalks weren’t clear.
- Police received a report about a stray dog on South Highland Street. Police picked up the dog and transported it to the kennel. The dog was later returned to the owner.
- Police received a report about a female with mental health issues on Olive Avenue. She was assisted with transportation to the hospital.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a male on West Long Avenue who made comments about self-harm. When police made contact with him, he was fine and with other people.
- Police received a report about a disabled vehicle on the B-Line. Police assisted until a tow truck arrived at the scene.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a female again on Olive Avenue. Police made contact with her and found she was now OK.
