CLEARFIELD – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clearfield County will hold the “Dance Away the Winter Blues” fundraiser dance Jan. 20 from 8:30 p.m. to midnight at St. Charles Café.

Formerly known as the “Oldies Dance,” the revamped event features music from every generation. Raffles, a Chinese auction and a 50/50 drawing are included at the dance.

The event is sponsored by WOKW 102.9 FM. Tickets are $8 and available at Children’s Aid Society, the WOKW studio on River Road and St. Charles Café. Attendees must be 21 or older.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is a one-to-one mentoring organization that provides children facing adversity with enduring, professionally supported relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

Children matched in the program are less likely to use drugs or alcohol and more likely to stay in school. The program relies solely on donations and fundraisers.

To volunteer or for more information, call 814-765-2686, Ext.209.
