MAHAFFEY- Dorothy Boal Anderson of Mahaffey will be celebrating her 100th birthday on Dec. 22.
Her family is asking for friends, family and well-wishers to participate in a “card shower” for her in the coming weeks.
Dot was born in Clearfield in 1917, the daughter of Orvis and Mary Elizabeth (Fray) Boal.
Her siblings include the late Emily Lynn of Clearfield, the late Delbert Boal of Charlotte, NC and Joyce Edgren of Clearfield.
Her husband was the late Harold “Babe” Anderson of Mahaffey. Her children include John Anderson of Mahaffey and Elaine Anderson of Greensburg.
She is also a beloved aunt and great-aunt to several nieces and nephews and has several cousins.
