JAY TOWNSHIP – A 68-year-old Weedville man, Eugene T. Lalley, has been accused of having unlawful contact with four minors.

According to state police at Ridgway, the incidents occurred while the victims were in Lalley’s care between October of 2015 and October of this year at a private residence in Jay Township. There isn’t any relation between the victims and Lalley.

State police were contacted by officials from the St. Marys Area School District. State police say the victim(s) was/were overhead speaking with classmates about inappropriate contact occurring with an older male, identified as Lalley.

A staff member reported the details of the conversation, and state police were contacted and initiated a criminal investigation.

Lalley was taken into custody Thursday without incident. He was charged with four counts each of corruption of minors, F3, unlawful contact with a minor, F3, indecent assault, M1, and indecent exposure, M1.

Lalley was arraigned and remanded to the Elk County Prison in lieu of $30,000 bail. State police are continuing their investigation pending further court proceedings.
