State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an incident of access device fraud that occurred Oct. 10 at a Main Street residence in Kersey. During the incident, someone allegedly used the victim’s credit card to purchase several items online. The total charges were $391.17, according to the report.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment at the Clearfield Area Elementary School.
- Police received a report about a possible domestic dispute on Calvary Road. It was listed as unfounded by police.
- Police received a report about a possible phone scam or fraud.
- Police received a report about a child custody issue.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of retail theft at the Sapp Bros. Truck Stop.
- Police received a report about a second alleged incident of harassment at the CAES.
Sandy Township
- On Monday a 77-year-old Treasure Lake man reported that someone took a four-wheeler and several tools from his garage. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- On Monday a vehicle driven by a 33-year-old Sandy Township woman pulled from Midway Drive and hit a vehicle driven by an 87-year-old DuBois man that was traveling south on Commons Drive.
- Police received a report about a false alarm at Long John Silvers on Monday.
- On Monday a 16-year-old Sandy Township girl allegedly became physical with her parents after they would not allow her to go out. The girl was taken into custody and turned over to juvenile probation.
- Police received a report about a false alarm at a Treasure Lake residence on Tuesday.
- On Tuesday police received a report about a suspicious male in the parking lot of Stoneside Village. However, he was gone upon police arrival.
- On Tuesday a Sandy Township woman reported someone took a motorcycle belonging to her grandson from a Wayne Road residence. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- On Tuesday a security company reported receiving an alarm from a Jitterbug phone located on Caldwell Drive. The phone owner said she accidently pushed the alarm button on the phone.
- On Tuesday Treasure Lake Security reported that someone had broken into a shed at the bottom of the old ski slope. No items appeared to be missing at the time, police said.
- On Tuesday an 18-year-old DuBois man lost control of his vehicle while he was traveling on Platt Road. This caused it to leave the roadway and get stuck in the ditch. No injuries or damage were reported to police.
- On Tuesday police received a report about someone taking items from the Goodwill donation box at the DuBois Mall. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
